Frodsham Tree Solutions has been invited to attend a prestigious Parliamentary Reception at the House of Lords, recognising the growing role that responsible employers play in supporting the Armed Forces community into sustainable civilian careers.
Chris Whitby, Founder of Frodsham Tree Solutions, will attend The 5% Club Armed Forces Special Interest Group (AFSIG) Parliamentary Reception on Wednesday 25 February 2026, hosted in the Cholmondeley Room and Terrace at the House of Lords, by kind invitation of Baroness Garden of Frognal.
The event brings together policymakers, employers and sector leaders committed to improving career pathways for veterans, service leavers, reservists, cadets, and military families.
Established to move beyond intention and into action, the AFSIG focuses on practical, evidence-led approaches that demonstrate how businesses can successfully integrate members of the Armed Forces community into the civilian workforce.
The reception will showcase real-world case studies and initiatives across four priority areas:
1. Cadets
2. Early Service Leavers
3. Reservists
4. Families and Spouses
Speaking ahead of the event, Chris Whitby said:
“This invitation is an honour and a reflection of the values we hold as a business. The skills, discipline, and mindset developed through military service closely align with the standards we expect in our industry. Being part of this conversation at Parliament is an important opportunity to listen, learn, and contribute in a meaningful way.”
Frodsham Tree Solutions operates in a sector where safety, teamwork, resilience and accountability are critical, qualities that closely mirror those developed within the Armed Forces. The company’s attendance reinforces its commitment to responsible employment practices and long-term skills development.
The Parliamentary Reception will provide an opportunity to celebrate the progress made by The 5% Club’s Armed Forces Special Interest Group, strengthen collaboration between employers and policymakers, and help shape the next phase of practical support for the Armed Forces community.
